Apple Picking

We had such an awesome time this afternoon. We left as soon as we could after church and hit the road. Where did we go? Well...

We went apple picking at Eckart's. We had such a great time eating the apples and picking the apples at the same time. Even Julia got in on the action! My mom went with us as this was her first time EVER going apple picking. What a deprived life she leads - lol. It was such a great time and it brings memories that will last a lifetime!

Drama Queen

Here she is ... Ms. America! Oh alright it's just Sophie, but gosh darn it - isn't she just so cute? Little miss attitude was strutting her stuff at maw maw and paw paw's house the other night and this was the photo we got! What a ham!

Our New Addition

Yes - we have just added another girl to our family - again! Earlier today while driving home from church we discovered that some of our neighbors had found two puppies on the side of the road. They had of course been dumped. They were only about six weeks old and I couldn't believe the horrible shape they were in. They were covered in fleas!!!! We took the girl puppy home and the other puppy went home with the other people. We named our new treasure "Louie." She is so sweet and I can't wait until she warms up to us.

I came out of the bathroom to find Anna curled up snug as a bug against Julia! They don't love each other much - do they? You bet they do!

San Antonio

I got the privilege to go to San Antonio, Texas with my mom to see my niece Alyssa graduate from the basic military training to become an airman for the air force! It was very exciting to watch and I am so proud of her. She has now been sent back to Fort Leonardwood to attend the tech school there. I know that she is just excited to get all of her "goodies" back. Goodies meaning fatty foods and Face book! Mom and I got to walk around San Antonio and see all of the sights. It was a lot of fun. I did visit Coyote Ugly (which was cool) but I did NOT drink (lol). I wanted to have them take a picture of me on the bar (as a joke) for Donald but I chickened out! P.S. The girls did a great job with daddy! What a good daddy to take on the girls!
